We have a variety of federal and private financial aid options that may be available to you

Focus On Your Studies, Not Your Finances

Going back to school can open the doors to a happier, more rewarding future. That being said, we understand that to get to that better place in the future, may mean sacrifices today. Financial considerations can be stressful, and can make you feel like you’re on your own.

Indiana Wellness College aims to train highly-professional, knowledgeable massage therapists who are passionate about helping others relieve pain and stress, and are paid well for doing so. To reach that goal, we support our students academically, emotionally, and financially through a number of financial aid options.

By taking the financial pressure off of you, you can then focus on what matters most: developing yourself into a successful massage therapist.

Options For Federal Financial Aid

IWC is a Title IV-approved school. As such, federal financial aid is available for those who qualify.

Your federal aid options may include:

  • Federal Pell Grants: A federal grant for undergraduate students with financial need. Does not have to be paid back.
  • Federal Direct Subsidized Loans: A loan, which must be repaid, that is based on financial need for which the federal government pays the interest that accrues while the borrower is in an in-school, grace, or deferment status.
  • Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loans: A loan for which the borrower is fully responsible for paying the interest regardless of the loan status. Interest on unsubsidized loans accrues from the date of disbursement and continues throughout the life of the loan. If the interest is not paid during the grace period, the interest will be added to the loan’s principal balance.
  • Federal Direct Parent PLUS Loan: A loan available to parents of dependent undergraduate students for which the borrower is fully responsible for paying the interest regardless of the loan status.

If you want to determine their eligibility for federal financial aid, complete the free application for federal student aid (FAFSA), located at https://fafsa.ed.gov/

Other Options for Financial Assistance

We understand that not everyone qualifies for federal financial aid. Ineligibility for federal loans shouldn’t block the way to a better future, and we help get over that hurdle. Beyond federal aid, IWC offers its own financial assistance, including financial counseling, payment plans, and recommendations for students seeking third-party financing.

Most people need help paying for school. At IWC, we are committed to helping you find the right option for your financial situation so that you’re in the right mindset to succeed in our program. With the right financial assistance, a better future is in your reach.
